Message From Counselor:

Hi — I’m Val, owner of Mindful Growth Counseling. I hold a bachelor’s in Psychology and a master’s in Mental Health Counseling and am licensed as a Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon. I’ve also submitted my paperwork to begin serving clients in Washington and am available to start there soon.

I work with adults and couples using trauma‑informed, evidence-based methods to address anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and lingering effects of past stress. I enjoy hearing clients’ stories and helping guide them toward the version of themselves they want to become. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s needs, focusing on practical skills, emotional regulation, and healthier connection patterns.

Online sessions are available for Oregon and Washington clients now. I welcome a first conversation to see if we’re a good fit and to discuss how counseling could help you reach your goals.
